Who are We….

The Troop meets every Tuesday from 7:00-8:30pm. Scout leaders meet on the 1st Tuesday of each month for the Patrol Leader’s Council (PLC) and Boards of Review (scout advancement). The entire troop meets on all other Tuesdays. Meetings are at The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd (1601 North Street SE, Olympia WA)

Our Scouts come from all around – from Yelm, the Black Hills, Tumwater, Olympia, Lacey and Shelton.

  • Adventure: We offer an active, safety-oriented outdoor program.
  • Positive Leadership: We model it, and teach it. We offer a progressive program of leadership training to every Scout.
  • Teamwork: From the newest boy to our most accomplished Eagle Scout, Troop 266 is a team. We don’t believe in problems; we believe in problem-solving.
  • Service: We give ourselves in service to our community, to our world, to Scouting and to the Greater Good.
  • Pass It On: We believe that we must give Scouting to others, just as others gave to us. We believe that older Scouts should help younger Scouts and set an example for them.
